Home base — the dock where it all started
Hey, I'm Nate.
I've spent most of my life on Central Texas lakes. Grew up around the water, raised a family around the water, and built a business keeping lakefronts clean, safe, and beautiful.
ATX LakeScapes started because I saw property owners getting the runaround — slow callbacks, surprise invoices, and crews that no-showed. I figured if we just showed up when we said we would, did honest work at a fair price, and treated every dock like it was our own, the rest would take care of itself.
Turns out, it did.
Then the paperwork caught up.
Business was growing. More jobs, more crews, more customers calling in. But every Sunday night was the same — laptop open at the kitchen table, price sheets everywhere, trying to get bids out before Monday.
Meanwhile, leads were calling and going to voicemail while I was out on a job. By the time I got back to them, they'd already hired someone else.
My wife noticed it before I did. She said, "You started this company so you could be on the water. Not behind a screen."
She was right. So we built InsightEngine — software that handles the parts of the business that don't require a boat or a toolbelt.
